A friend of mine recently asked me for my favorite hair care products so I thought it would be nice to share them here as well. :)
First off, this is how blonde my hair was before I started dyeing it in different hues:

Tadaaaah! Here they are:
L-R: Lush Daddy-O Purple Shampoo, Aveeno Living Color, Aqua Net Purple Conditioner, and Snoe Hair Heroes Intense Conditioner |
I live in the Philippines and I swear it's so hard to find a purple shampoo here. I almost jumped out of joy when I learned that Lush has one. It's very important to tone your bleached hair to eliminate the brassiness of it. Why purple shampoo? Simple concept: Purple is the opposite of yellow on the color wheel, thus it cools down the ugly brassy tone of your bleached hair. I alternate it with Aveeno Living Color shampoo which is recommended for dyed medium-thick hair. For conditioner, I recently discovered Aqua Net Silver Beauty Conditioner (Purple Conditioner), it smells good but I haven't really noticed its effect on my hair yet.
And my most favorite (local) hair product is Snoe Hair Heroes Intense Conditioner. It does a lot for a 250 ml bottle, it works like magic.

Extra tip: If recently colored your hair with semi-permanent dye, you will most likely want to keep its color as vibrant as you can, so daily hair washing is your enemy. Having said that, I recommend you invest in a dry shampoo to keep away the extra oil from building up. I use Lush No Drought Shampoo but I live in tropical country and I just cannot resist having not to wash my hair. :P
Oh, it also does not hurt to steer clear from curling/straightening your hair with flat/curling irons.
I actually don't comb my hair much, I just use my Snoe Hair Heroes Conditioner as a de-tangler, finger-comb my hair and then let it dry naturally. Why? Because I love having messy hair. ;)
